"a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, "Depart in peace, be warmed and filled," but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit" (James 2:15-16 NKJV)

LoveThe Bible is clear that the definition of love does not rely
on feelings; this is evident when we are told to love our enemies (Luke 6:35).
It is possible only when we allow the Holy Spirit to work through us,
cultivating the fruit of our salvation (Galatians 5:22-23). It is a decision we
make on a daily basis to die to ourselves and our selfishness, and let God shine
through us. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 tells us how to love others: “Love is patient
and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. Love does not demand
its own way. Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of when it has been
wronged. It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins
out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures
through every circumstance.”
